SiC DIPIPM/SiC DIPPFC

Existing package equipped with SiC MOSFET

Equipped with an SiC-MOSFET, this product reduces power loss and contributes to downsizing of systems.

Features

  • Achieves reduced ON-resistance due to being equipped with SiC MOSFET and has over 70% less power loss compared to the conventional product*1(SiC DIPIPM)
  • Realizes a low noise system by reducing recovery current
  • Mitsubishi Electric's proprietary high Vth SiC-MOSFET technology eliminates the need for a minus-bias circuit for gate drive
  • Equipped with an SiC chip, this product can support high-frequency switching (up to 40 kHz) and contributes to cost reduction by downsizing of peripheral equipment such as reactors and heatsinks (SiC DIPPFC)
  • Performance is enhanced by simply switching to this product (SiC DIPIPM) with the same package and pin layout compatibility as the conventional product*1
  • This package is identical to the Super Mini DIPIPM, therefore mounting is easy as a spacer for height adjustment is no longer required when sharing the inverter portion and heatsink (SiC DIPPFC)
  • ※1:Mitsubishi Electric's Super Mini DIPIPM Series
